We decided to make our first vacation a road trip. Who can we visit? Annie & Jimmy in Virginia!
So the time has come for vacation and the packing begins. Yesterday was a very loooonnnnggg day. Packing made us realize, "WOW, RJ has much more luggage than Daddy and Mami put together!"So we spent all day searching the house for what had to be
packed for RJ, the stroller, playpen, bouncer, clothes, pamper, don't forget the wipes. We finally finished packing and drove off about by 5pm, mind you we started packing at about 9am. Aaaaahhhhh a full day's worth of work.
Our plans were to visit Grandpa and Grandma Reyes before heading out. We didn't make it there until 7:30ish. Unfortunately RJ is going through stranger anxieties and when he got to Grandpa and Grandma he started crying. Eventually he started recognizing them and had a blast laughing and talking with them both.
Today, we will head out to Virginia which is a 7hr ride from here. The goal is to head out by 1pm making it to Virginia by 8pm. So we have to feed RJ and pick up a few things before we head out.
Hopefully tonight, I'll be able to update you on what happened through out our day.
